Mitzy tells Marilyn that her end date is only a couple of months away, leaving her devastated. Shortly before Penn was introduced, TV Week's Carolyn Stewart revealed he would develop a relationship with Nicole Franklin . Penn has never seen this in a girl before and so it was endearing to him. On 5 October 2010, Daniel Kilkelly from Digital Spy reported Penn would be at the centre of another mystery when he disappears in suspicious circumstances. After engaging in a number of "heated clashes" with Summer Bay residents, Penn goes missing and a pool of blood is found in his hotel room.
Ross arrives at Yabbie Creek Police Station to investigate the murder of Sam Holden . He interviews Martha MacKenzie , the ex-wife of Sam's widower, Jack (Paul O'Brien) and quizzes her over a suicide note, which he believes to be fake. After some new evidence is discovered, Ross suspends the interview with Martha and brings Jazz Curtis in for questioning when new evidence is discovered.

The bad boy of the Parata family joined the Bay with his loved ones in early 2020. Although Tane has tried to stay on the straight and narrow, many of his recent storylines have centred around him slipping up and returning to crime. Nikau is also in a relationship with Bella Nixon and is best friends with Ryder Jackson. Mackenzie is currently in a relationship with Ari Parata and lives with Ziggy at the Astonis' farmhouse. In 2019, Mackenzie was brought in as the long-lost half-sister of Dean Thompson. She took over ownership of Salt, the Bay's local bar and restaurant.
Additionally, we have dedicated cast lists for Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. The rest of the cast tends to refresh itself every few years, with popular stars bowing out and new faces arriving to spice things up. Ray Meagher – better known to fans as Alf Stewart – continues as the sole remaining original cast member from 1988. The Indigenous rapper and hip-hop artist, 28, made the announcement via his Instagram on earlier this month - revealing he is playing the character of Mali Hudson.

Belle quickly works out Aden is responsible for Axel's attack after he shows his callous attitude, stating that Axel "got what he deserved". Axel's reputation later takes a dive and he apologises to Melody and makes friends with Jai. Axel and Jai are involved in a road accident caused by Aden's father, Axel dies as a result. Axel appears to Melody as a vision when she begins having nightmares about him.

Like Marilyn, it's hard to sum up Alf as he has been a permeant fixture of Summer Bay since Home and Away first began. We've seen Alf go through many ups and downs over the years, including marrying and then losing his beloved wife Ailsa. The man we all love to impersonate is such a fixture of the bay that it would be hard to imagine it without him.

She immediately gets to know some of the locals and appears to settle into life quickly. She develops an instant attraction to Angelo, who is delighted at her interest. The two decide to start a relationship after a some successful dates.
In one of her storylines, she sleeps with Geoff for the first time, and the caravan they are in sets on fire. Lincoln Lewis, who plays Geoff, has said that his religious character believed they were being punished and going to hell for sleeping together. Cameron Welsh said her relationship with Geoff was not as "clear cut" on the surface as it would seem, regarding her pregnancy. He stated that there would be a lot of mileage from the storyline and a lot going on during the last few weeks of Claudia's duration. Welsh's comments were in reference to Claudia lying about the identity of the father.
Home and Away originally focused on the Fletcher family and Tom Fletcher, played by Roger Oakley was the father. He was married to Pippa and the couple fostered five children. Tom appeared in the first pilot episode in 1988 but the character died in a car crash in 1990.
Mitzy comes to Summer Bay House to see Marilyn Chambers and reveals that she knows exactly when she is going to die. Marilyn's partner, Sid Walker, dismisses Mitzy's prediction and confronts her about her abilities. Romeo Smith asks Mitzy's advice about whether to have sex with his girlfriend and she gives him a cryptic answer. Mitzy learns Dexter Walker has feelings for Marilyn and she tries to make him see that Marilyn does not have any for him. When Dexter becomes defensive, Mitzy kisses him to show him that it is not okay to push himself onto other people. Marilyn becomes upset with Mitzy and she feels bad for affecting her friend's relationship.
Joey is first seen working on the boat with Aden Jefferies and Robbo Cruze. Robbo starts giving Joey a hard time each day she attends work. One day Robbo pushes Joey over board the boat, this terrifies her and she does not want to work with him. She starts falling for Charlie after they become friends. Her brother Brett is extremely annoyed to hear about her sexuality and argues with her and announces his disapproval. Trey later appears to be bettering himself, he starts to grow closer to Nicole.
